Responsibilities - Investigates accidents/incidents, determines root causes and measures necessary to prevent recurrence inline with the Company’s accident investigation and reporting procedure.
- Orders the sealing off of areas if danger or unsafe condition is evident.
- Develops and conducts regular safety & firefighting training programs, both in class and in firefighting drills, for all field‑based personnel according to company fire training schedules.
- Provides advice to field/terminal personnel on the implementation of safe working systems and on the availability and use of protective equipment.
- Provides expert firefighting advice in the event of a fire breakout and leads firefighting and rescue operations.
