The Position

• Hill Crest Community School is a Grade K to 9 school between Fort Vermilion and La Crete with a projected enrollment of 324 students.
• Foundations classrooms focus primarily on building students’ literacy, numeracy and social-emotional skills. These classes provide targeted instruction for students with identified gaps in learning and are designed to accelerate growth through consistent, explicit teaching and frequent practice.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid work permit.
• Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Education or applicable equivalent.
• Must be eligible to obtain or have a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate.
• Willing to relocate to northern Alberta.
