General Labourer

Responsibilities

• Work in a variety of areas, which may include sorting, stacking, and piling lumber
• Handling and lifting materials
• Operate production equipment as assigned
• Assist other processing workers
• Routine maintenance and cleaning of the sawmill or planer equipment, ensuring proper functioning and promptly reporting any malfunctions or issues to the team
• Other general labourer responsibilities
• Repetitive tasks
• Strict adherence to company safety standards and follow safe‑work practices such as lock‑out, pre‑task hazard assessments, etc.
• Standing for extended periods
