*Description*
The Subspecialty Surgical PA Service at Vassar Brothers Medical Center is seeking to add a full-time board-certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join its surgical APP team. The Surgical APP Service at Vassar Brothers Medical Center is a hospital-based group that offers a supportive and team-based environment with exposure to multiple surgical subspecialties including but not limited to Urology and Gyn-Oncology. The surgical rounder will care for all surgical inpatients, perform consults, admissions, and discharges.This position currently does not require O.R. first assisting.
* In-house shift to include management of surgical floor patients. Specialties covered include, but are not limited to, Urology and Gyn-Oncology.
* Perform history and physicals for any consults or admissions from the emergency department or inpatient floors for the surgery department
