Role Description

This is a part‑time, on‑site Freelance Hospitality Consultant role based in Halifax, NS. The consultant will work directly with restaurant and hospitality operators to assess current operations, identify performance gaps, and recommend actionable improvements in areas such as service standards, staffing, and cost control. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include conducting site visits, observing front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house workflows, reviewing financial and operational data, and preparing concise reports and action plans. The role involves coaching on‑site teams, delivering targeted training sessions, and supporting the implementation of new processes or service standards. The consultant will also collaborate with clients on menu optimization, guest journey mapping, and customer feedback programs to enhance overall guest satisfaction and business performance.
