**Job Title: Forklift Operator (Afternoon Shift – Kelowna)**
**Job Description**
The forklift operator safely and efficiently loads and unloads a wide variety of freight from trailers using a propane sit-down counterbalance (SDCB) forklift in a busy less-than-truckload (LTL) cross-dock environment. This role spends the majority of the shift operating a forklift in tight quarters, handling freight of varying sizes, shapes, and weights, while ensuring accuracy through paper and digital shipping documentation.

**Responsibilities**

+ Operate a propane sit-down counterbalance forklift for approximately 80% of the shift to load and unload freight from trailers in an LTL cross-dock environment.
+ Handle a wide range of freight types, including small parcels and large, heavy, irregularly shaped items such as appliances and tires, ensuring secure and stable handling.
