Responsibilities

• Fire Protection Systems Oversight – Supervise the performance and operational condition of fire protection systems (automatic sprinklers, fire pumps, detection and alarm systems, deluge systems, etc.) in compliance with NFPA standards and Argentine regulations. Participate in Fire Protection Adequacy projects as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing technical guidance. Review engineering drawings for new installations or plant modifications to ensure alignment with GM standards.
• Risk Management & Compliance – Conduct risk assessments for critical activities such as hot work, confined spaces, work at heights, and chemical storage areas. Manage Hot Work Permits and audit contractor documentation compliance on site. Maintain communication with external emergency response services when required.
