Position Summary
Supervise the overall Banking and Accounting functions of the General Accounting DZ team at the DataZone office.
Team activities include multiple account reconciliations, process monitoring, automated and manual journal entries.
Partner with internal and external customers to effectively manage services functions with a focus on continuous improvement and building a team with exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
Perform period end journal entry preparation according with GAAP and company policies.
Perform month-end close analytical review of: Cash over/short banking.
Participate in new rec types trainings with the assigned reconciler and new hires.
Timely communicate findings in rec types reviewed.
Guide and coordinate team's development (skills and knowledge), schedule training to increase effectiveness of teams.
