Role Summary
As a statutory accountant for LATAM you will prepare the statutory accounting, planning, and audit with all related internal stakeholders (R2R, AP, Treasury) and external stakeholders (Auditors, TAX) for several entities.
The statutory specialist ensures the proper statutory accounting of the balance sheet and income statement of Vernova HQ entities.
Responsibilities
Manage statutory reporting of 13 LATAM GEV legal entities
Set up, reconcile and maintain USGAAP to local GAAP adjustments
Identify the standard differences (Stat To GAAP) – permanent or temporary – between US GAAP and Local GAAP
Ensure all statutory regulatory filings are completed timely, efficiently, and in compliance with local regulatory requirements
Act as primary point‐of‐contact for VHQ businesses for queries relating to local regulatory timelines, process steps, and status updates in terms of statutory preparation and audit
