Fiber Splicing Technician
RFNOW Inc. is seeking applications from motivated individuals to join our team as a Fiber Splicing Technician. The successful candidates will be involved in our day-to-day operations including the preparation and installation of fibre internet infrastructure maintaining, repairing, connecting separate fiber runs.
Role & Responsibilities
- Splice and test fiber optic cables in all inside/outside plant applications – buried and underground; both on newly placed cable and existing cables
- Analyze test results and have the ability to troubleshoot and correct any faults or defects
- Interpret and understand placing and splicing work plans
- This position requires that the individual be motivated and self-disciplined, able to work on their own or closely with other team members to optimize efficiency to ensure that the client’s due date(s) are met
