Position Details

The Department of Anthropology at the University of Lethbridge invites applications from sociocultural anthropologists for a tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor to commence on July 1, 2026, subject to budgetary approval. Hiring salary will be in the range of $79,132 to $98,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience.


We are seeking to hire a sociocultural anthropologist with a strong and active record of ethnographic research with a demonstrated ability to produce high-quality research, and potential for securing research funding.
