Experienced Roofing/Construction Estimator

Qualifications

• Must have extensive knowledge within the construction industry
• At least 5-year experience in blueprint reading and take-offs.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Knowledge of Bluebeam software is an asset
• Ability to multi task, time management skill, keen attention to detail

Duties

• Attend pre-bid meetings
• Review plans, specifications, drawings to determine the scope of work
• Perform take-offs, prepare labour, material and equipment costs
• Prepare and submit quotations/tender form with all the required documentation
• Provide Construction Schedule and Schedule of Values
• Assisting with project scheduling and costing and liaising with clients and trades
