Mission

The role is within the Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) team, which is a part of the Structure Systems Tech. area group within the Engineering & Innovation Directorate. The role is, under the supervision of a E3 Chief Project and Subject Matter Expert, to support new design and certification activities in the frame of E3 discipline mainly dealing with Intra-system Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), HIRF (High Intensity Radiated Field) and IEL (Indirect Effect of Lightning) for both new type designs and modifications to already certified LHD products. The main activities are: prepare E3 certification program plans, review supplier equipment/system qualification plan/ test plan / test report, prepare and execute EMC test on LHD products, prepare E3 design and certification compliance documents, support the E3 simulation team on perform design and certification activities by simulation.
