Manage editorial and production workflows for a portfolio of scholarly journals, ensuring titles are published in print and digital formats according to schedule. Oversee responsibility for publications assigned, from manuscript submission through copyediting and PDF proofs to print and digital publication. Maintain publishing schedules and deadlines; manage budgets for editorial and production work. Facilitate clear communication and collaborative relationships with internal staff, authors and editors, and external vendors and freelancers. Assess manuscript and image files for completeness and compliance with publishing style; send manuscripts to vendors for content preparation and XML tagging.
