Separating clothing and other textiles, washing, drying, pressing, and folding them. Using the right methods to remove stains from items. Carrying out simple sewing tasks.

Tracking which items belong to whom. Maintaining a current stock of sewing supplies and laundry detergents. Maintaining a record of laundry equipment maintenance and repairs.

Maintaining the facilitys cleanliness at all times. Preparing for and responding to inquiries, issues, and complaints from customers. Keeping enough tokens or change on hand in case the washing and drying machines need it.

Requirements A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Prior experience in a comparable role is preferred. Knowledge of cleaning detergents and laundry equipment.

The ability to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds without assistance. Basic arithmetic abilities.
