Audition repertoire

• 1st Movement with cadenza from either of the following works: Dittersdorf: Double Bass Concerto Nr 2 or Vanhal: Double Bass Concerto
• 1st and 2nd Movement from either of the following works: Bottesini: Double Bass Concerto Nr 2 or Koussevitzky: Double Bass Concerto
• Orchestral and chamber music assignments to be announced after the closing date for applications

Audition repertoire must be performed on an instrument with orchestral tuning.

Auditions and application period

• The auditions will be held at the Helsinki Music Centre on October 22 and 23, 2026 from 9.00 onwards.
• The deadline for applications is 23.59 Finnish time on August 30, 2026.

Preliminary selection

• Applicants will be selected for audition on the basis of their application documents and the video recording.
