Details: DISTRICT PSYCHOLOGIST - Coast Mountains School District 82 JOB DESCRIPTION: The School Psychologist is a member of District Staff in a Position of Special Responsibility working under the direction of the Director of Instruction, Learner Support or designate. The School Psychologist will: •Provide collaborative consultation in classrooms and at school-based team meetings; • Provide collaborative planning for students and classrooms and consult on pre-referral interventions; • Provide educational assessments, which may include the use of Level C testing instruments, for students referred through the school-based team process; • Contribute to the development of the IEP as appropriate and necessary; • Provide in-service training in the area of interventions, progress monitoring, data collection and/or assessment; • Consult with Director of Learner Support regarding with the Ministry of Education processes for designation and adjudication; • Consult with teachers, support staff, p...
