Reporting to the Assistant Deputy Minister, Service Nunavut, the Director, Motor Vehicles is responsible for the overall delivery of motor vehicles programs and services across Nunavut. The role encompasses road safety, driver testing, licensing, registering and inspection of motor vehicles, motor vehicles records, identification cards and maintaining the territorial motor vehicle accident database system. The position has a general impact on the Department, its Branches and Divisions.

• Building and maintaining effective working, partnering and communications relationships with government, crown corporations, communities and industry to support effective and efficient motor vehicles programs infrastructure and services.
