Pratt & Whitney Canada seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead a team dedicated to support manufacturability and production readiness for turbomachinery components.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of manufacturing experts located in Canada and Poland to address all aspects of producibility for current and future engine parts, focusing on manufacturing engineering points of concern (WIM-1048).
- Develop and implement methods, tools, and metrics to achieve manufacturing‑ready designs that meet Zero Non‑Conformance (ZNC) targets on time, reproducibly, and at target cost.
- Approve manufacturing aspects of drawings within the IPT.
- Collaborate with NPI IPT and Industrialization teams to review all turbomachinery module components, sourcing and manufacturing strategies, including PPAP plans and mitigation for common hardware issues.
- Create producibility knowledge documentation based on market feedback and new technologies.
