Job Description
As Design Coordinator:
You keep the global overview over the design of a large construction/civil projects; You make use of your technical knowledge on the different aspects of construction design (architectural, mechanical, …) in order to design the project at the clients demands; You coordinate the studies to be carried out (stability, geotechnical engineering, special techniques, BIM) and decide which studies can be carried out internally or externally; You conduct design meetings with the clients to hear about their specific demands for the project. In addition, you conduct internal design meetings and get all parties to work together to produce a winning design You are the SPOC for the bringing together of all info from different disciplines in the tender (Estimating, BED, Methods & Planning, ..)
