Summary/Objective
Perform a variety of clinical and/or administrative task to help a dermatologist run their office
Essential Functions
Summons and prepares patient for office visit.
Assists Physician or PA with medical office procedures.
Administers medications, including injections, documents meds given or prescribed by ordering provider.
Administers dermatology and pathology biopsy procedures.
Assumes responsibility of maintaining current certification in CPR.
Accepts responsibility for reading and referencing new policy & procedures and newsletters.
Adheres to nursing policy and procedure when documenting in patient's record.
Attends support staff and department meetings to keep informed of employee issues and concerns as well as organizational updates.
Maintains confidentiality of clinic materials.
