Role: Data Engineer

Location: Hybrid - 2 days per week in Toronto

Job type: Contract (12 Months) - High possibility of extension

Pay: CAD 70 /Hour

Start date: Immediate

Responsibilities

• Enhance data pipelines and enable data-driven decision-making within Third Party (Supplier) Management at the bank.
• Ingest, process, and model data from multiple domains—including intake, contract, risk, supplier, and spend.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to integrate diverse data sources.
• Develop robust ETL pipelines and create insightful Power BI dashboards and KPIs.
• Ensure data quality, accessibility, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Leverage knowledge of big data platforms such as Microsoft Azure Databricks as we transition to an enterprise platform.
