Overview Buckland is looking for a Customs Compliance Specialist - Classification.
Responsibilities - Complete HTS and ECCN tariff classification determinations, reviews, and opinions.
- Submit applications for customs rulings for complex tariff, origin and valuation opinions.
- Review and maintain database integrity by utilizing both internal and client provided software to organize, prioritize workload, drafting processes, and create reports.
- Provide broker and client assistance with antidumping and countervailing duty assessment or equivalent (e.g., SIMA in Canada).
- Liaise with significant business partners on Customs compliance issues.
- Maintain good written and verbal communication skills.
- Apply your skills with Microsoft programs such as Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook.
