Lead community-driven initiatives at Native Child and Family Services as a Cultural Supervisor. This role emphasizes Indigenous knowledge, fostering a supportive environment for children and families.
Under the Manager of Early Years, Youth, and Community Programs, the Supervisor will establish culturally grounded early learning programs. You will ensure services reflect Indigenous teachings while promoting identity development and community connection. Relationship-building with Indigenous families and community partners is essential to this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement culturally rooted programs for children
• Guide emergent programming using Indigenous pedagogies
• Sustain meaningful relationships with families and Elders
• Ensure cultural safety and belonging in all programs
