This position is accountable to the Associate Director, International and Student Services (ISS) for overseeing the daily operations at Nahoonai-a Indigenous Housing, and works in collaboration with both Student Services and the Vice President, Indigenization's team in the design and implementation of a support system and educational network for Indigenous students who are making a transition from their home communities to the College of New Caledonia. As a community-recognized Elder or Mentor, the Cultural Advisor, Nahoonai-a will provide cultural guidance and mentorship to Indigenous students.
