About the Hospital

The Veterinary Specialty Centre of Newfoundland and Labrador is the province’s only specialty referral center and full-service emergency hospital. It was originally founded to make sure that no pet owner would have to leave the province to get the proper care their pet needs. It has the only board-certified radiologist in the province, regular locum board-certified surgeons, a CT scanner, and an MRI machine. We run a canine blood donor program and have the only ICU that is fully staffed 24 hours a day, Sunday to Thursday.
