Reporting to the SOCC Manager, the Crew Scheduler will coordinate /communicate daily crew assignments in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling of Flight and Cabin crews to fulfill scheduled, charter, freight and training flying requirements.
• Update the flight crew schedules within the Aviation Management Software to reflect changes resulting from crew sick call, Reserve utilization, Flight assignments, and crew illegalities or to meet customer/contract requirements.
• Review crew qualifications to ensure crew members are within legal qualification parameters.
• Arrange / coordinate necessary support for abnormal (delayed/non-routine) flight operations at all destinations being served.
• React to Irregular Operations (IROPs) to formulate and execute crewing centric recovery plans to minimize delays. Communicate such planning as necessary.
