Responsibilities
Responsible for management of converting department consisting of printing, rewinding, and converting equipment across multiple shifts. Plans, supervises, and directs daily production operations with an ability to anticipate and alleviate production problems, such as material shortages, equipment malfunctions and employee-related situations. Primarily responsible for coaching and developing the team. Participates in the selection and interview processes to fill hourly employee positions. Conducts employee reviews and maintains training and performance documentation. Initiates efforts to introduce cost reductions and drive continuous improvements in methods or equipment. Supervises and leads departmental safety and housekeeping practices and maintains a constant alert for hazardous conditions.
