Controller - 6-9 Month Contract
This is an opportunity for a hands-on finance leader who brings strong technical accounting expertise, thrives in fast-paced environments, and can quickly provide stability across reporting, revenue recognition, and day-to-day accounting operations.
About the Opportunity - Lead and support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities
- Oversee financial reporting and core controllership processes
- Manage revenue recognition in accordance with US GAAP / ASC 606
- Partner with external auditors and tax advisors
- Support and guide accounting operations across AP, AR, and general accounting
- Help improve processes, controls, and documentation to support growth
About You - Canadian CPA or US CPA
- Strong US GAAP knowledge
- Hands-on ASC 606 revenue recognition experience
- Audit experience or strong audit coordination exposure
