Consultant Medicine for Older Adults (5 PA)

This post offers a part‑time opportunity for a Consultant Medicine for Older Adults to join a dedicated multidisciplinary team at the University Hospital Monklands (UHM) site, including a 24‑bed Acute Frailty Unit. The successful candidate will also work across intermediate care facilities at Coathill and Westermoffat Hospitals, and the outpatient activity largely takes place at Coathill.

Additional opportunities exist to work within the Hospital at Home team or to develop a community focus in line with the Lanarkshire Frailty Strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership across four Medicine for Older Adults wards on the UHM site.
• Deliver care in the Acute Frailty Unit and support intermediate care facilities at Coathill and Westermoffat.
