Overview

The Construction Surveyor will report to our Head Surveyor and be responsible for day-to-day survey requirements including the following:

• Surveying for site services, grading and curb & sidewalk works with GPS equipment
• Perform Topographical surveys as needed
• Surveying for excavations with GPS and/or Laser technology
• Setting up GPS base stations
• Keeping appropriate records and documentation

Qualifications and Knowledge

• Prior field surveying experience or a relevant education with experience surveying (CET)
• Clear and effective communication skills
• Ability to read construction drawings
• Ability to work in a quick-paced environment
• Care in work and accuracy of work
• Experience with AutoCAD or Trimble Business Centre software is an asset
