Commercial Banking Analyst – Construction

The Commercial Banking Analyst contributes to the organization’s commercial lending profitability and growth by assisting in the ongoing management of a diverse portfolio of mid‑market business relationships.

Job Purpose & Summary

Supports the Commercial Finance team in analysis, credit application write‑up, portfolio management, and business development activities on a day‑to‑day basis, while ensuring adherence to risk management frameworks.

Key Accountabilities & Duties

• Assist with assessment of financing proposals, due diligence, research, and credit applications, and make recommendations that adhere to policies and risk guidelines.
• Prepare credit applications, including financial statement analysis, cash flow modelling, covenant assessment, third‑party report summaries, and industry research, and provide recommendations on structure that balance risk and member needs.
