Salary range: CAD $44.85 - $56.02 / hour. The Clinician, Short Term Assessment and Response Team (START) is based in Abbotsford, B.C.

Fraser Health is seeking a Clinician, START to join our team. This role involves providing comprehensive assessment, treatment and referral coordination for adolescents and families in acute crisis, collaborating with hospital and community personnel, and contributing to program development and research.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client and family social, emotional and cultural needs and formulate appropriate treatment recommendations.
• Assess the need for psychiatric evaluation and arrange this through the program's community psychiatrist.
• Provide comprehensive short-term individual and family therapy using models such as Brief Therapy and Crisis Intervention.
