Multi-Site (Working at both HDMH & SMMH)

Role

The Clinical Pharmacist Supervisor is involved in the provision, development and day-to-day operations of the MAHC Pharmacy Department and services. This includes but is not limited to:

• Review medication orders for safety and appropriateness, and verify orders in an electronic computerized health information system
• Provide drug information and clinical pharmacy support (e.g. pharmacokinetic monitoring, etc.)
• Responsible for the oversight of drug distribution services in collaboration with other pharmacy staff (including IV medications, TPN, chemotherapy, narcotics etc.)
• Assisting in the investigation and reporting of medication related incidents
• Ensure provision of pharmacy services in compliance with accepted standards and relevant legislation (accreditation, Can. Soc. of Hosp Pharmacists, Food & Drug Act, Regulated Health Professions Act, Public Hosp. Act, NAPRA...
