Clinical Nurse Manager 2 - Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy (OPAT)

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The CNM 2 OPAT is a senior nursing role designed to facilitate the use of Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy in Tallaght University Hospital (TUH) in a safe and appropriate manner under the clinical governance of the TUH Infectious Diseases Service working collaboratively with Clinical Microbiology, Antimicrobial Pharmacists, Community home infusions services and various medical and surgical services. The Clinical Nurse Manager 2 will manage and coordinate a smooth operation especially when the CNM3 is unavailable ensuring the highest standard of quality care is delivered at all times.
