JOB SUMMARY (overview of job): The Clinical Informatics Specialist (RN) challenges the status quo of the healthcare experience through the Science of Informatics. An exciting role that is an expert in innovating, simplifying and translating technology to equitably support the St. Peter’s Health mission and vision and community affiliates. The position is responsible to perform workflow and system analysis, which includes troubleshooting, for software development/configuration activities associated with clinical applications. Caregivers in this role are also responsible for participating in the implementation, education, adoption, and process improvement of Health Information Technology (HIT).
