- **Key responsibilities**:
- Lead and manage the engine room team
- Operate, monitor and maintain main engine, auxiliary engines and auxiliary systems
- Plan and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance
- Ensure safe bunkering and fuel/lubricant management
- Maintain all technical records, logs and reports
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, class, flag and international regulations
- Support safe cargo operations together with deck officers
- **Requirements**:
- Valid Chief Engineer license for seagoing vessels (STCW, III/2)
- Previous experience as Chief Engineer on LNG or other gas tankers preferred
- Valid STCW certificates, medical and tanker/GAS endorsements as required
