Stroke Registered Nurse – Ward 42

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced registered nurse to join our Stroke team. This is an exciting opportunity to support and manage patient-centred care within the acute stroke unit.

Ward 42 is a 24‑bed Acute and early rehabilitation Stroke Unit. The ward offers 24/7 specialised stroke care from admission and aims to provide the highest standard of quality, evidence-based care.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective patient‑centred care to acute stroke patients.
• Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to drive local and national stroke care standards.
• Support team members and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
• Deliver care within the 36‑hour weekly schedule, including weekend and out‑of‑hours work.
