Cert Pharm Tech - IV Spec

Reports to Manager, Pharmacy Services; under the general supervision and work direction of the staff pharmacists. Fills patient orders, floor stock, and ancillary department supplies for terminal check by a registered pharmacist or certified pharmacy technician. Enters charges and credits onto patient profiles vis CRT. Delivers patient medications from the pharmacy, returns orders, and other pharmacy-bound materials. Maintains drug stock within the pharmacy.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education

High School diploma or equivalent required. Some college work in life sciences desirable.

Minimum Work Experience

• Previous experience in hospital or community pharmacy highly desirable.
• In lieu of prior experience, evaluation period may be extended while on-the-job training occurs.
