What you will do
- Develop, manage, and execute the category strategy, managing policies, agreements, source catalogs, and special procurement programs.
- Recognize opportunities for cost reduction, inventory reduction, and quality improvement, and ensure soundness of business proposals and risk assessment.
- Act as a liaison between the organization and suppliers to communicate information explicitly while considering production demands and supplier conditions.
- Document supplier performance on time sensitivity and production; maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
