The opportunity

We are seeking 2 cardiologists to join the Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute as PhD fellows. Applicants must meet eligibility criteria for enrolment into a doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) by research. The PhD project themes will be heart failure (heart failure with preserved ejection fraction and heart failure with reduced ejection fraction) and cardiac energetics in cardiovascular disease and diabetes. We aim to train future leaders in cardiac MRI research.

Primary supervision will be by world experts in cardiac MRI Professor John Greenwood (Director, Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute) and Professor Eylem Levelt (Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute, University of Melbourne).
