Canoe Tripper
Camp Big Canoe is an overnight camp located on a private lake in Bracebridge, Ontario. As a canoe tripper you will report to the head tripper. You will be responsible for organizing, planning, and guiding canoe trips ranging from overnights to multiple day trips. Your can-do attitude will inspire the next generation of canoe trippers.
Key Responsibilities include:
Plan and run canoe trips
Work with counselling staff to teach wilderness skills
Organize, pack and clean up after canoe trips
Ensure canoe trip inventory is managed and cared for
Participate and lead camp activities when at camp
Support counsellors with their units
Participate in daily tripping meetings when on site
