Position Summary

A Deli Bakery Associate provides exemplary customer service by adhering to the basic beliefs and values of Walmart, maintains and zones the Bakery and/or Deli area, and assists with stocking and the sale of goods.

What you’ll do

• Zone the department to ensure product shelves, tables, and bunkers are organized and that product is in the correct location.
• Rotate stock and check for expired products.
• Ensure merchandise is properly signed and priced.
• Adhere to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell‑by dates, and expiration dates.
• Takes orders for Deli Department merchandise; prepares hot food merchandise and provides requested assistance.
• Prepare deli food orders utilizing utensils; prepare chicken using the rotisserie oven; and fill prepared side dishes for placement into display area.
