Responsible for the implementation of buying strategies and budget proposals to achieve sales, profits as well as inventory targetsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with key marketplace brandsDevelop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targetsMonitor and analyze sales performance to identify opportunities for improvementConduct frequent brand review meetings either on a monthly, quarterly or seasonal basisBuilds and buys the most relevant range for the target customerFull ownership of weekly trade within own department, including replenishment, stock swaps, RTS, etcCompletes and supports all facets of contract negotiations with new potential brands/ suppliersDemonstrates an understanding of new fashion and retail trends, and how these can affect the trading climate, regularly reads market research data and spots new business opportunitiesConducts regular compe...
