Summary

Reporting directly to the Director, Supply Chain, the Buyer I is responsible to managing all purchases within their line of business area. The duties may include, but not be limited to, obtaining quotations, evaluation of proposals, award of purchase orders, and expediting the delivery of goods and services. The Buyer I will adhere and train stakeholders in processes and procedures governing financial and supply chain controls. This position will be based in our Bedford, NS office and is an on-site role.
