Across Boundaries is actively recruiting for its Board, valuing individuals with expertise in areas like strategic planning, governance, and government relations. Representation from those with lived mental health experiences and diverse community backgrounds is encouraged to strengthen our advocacy efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Commit to 6-10 board meetings each year
• Participate in committees that may meet monthly
• Support the inclusion of marginalized voices
• Drive strategic initiatives aligned with our mission
• Promote anti-racism practices within the board
Requirements:
• Experience in executive leadership or governance
• Background in health care systems in Ontario
• Knowledge in community development
• Commitment to anti-Black and anti-Indigenous racism efforts
