The Role

As a Biologist, you are responsible for leading and coordinating various aspects of environmental assessments, impact mitigation, and project management. Your expertise in both fisheries and terrestrial ecology, combined with your knowledge of environmental legislation and policy, enables you to conduct thorough assessments, prepare regulatory applications, and provide guidance to project teams. Additionally, you play a key role in mentoring junior staff, developing client relationships, and ensuring the delivery of high‑quality environmental services.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor or Masters degree in Biology, Ecology, or related discipline.
• 5+ years experience in field biology, with emphasis on ecosystems of Alberta.
• Registration as a Professional Biologist with Alberta Society of Professional Biologists will be considered an asset.
