The work consists mainly of ensuring compliance with the bicycle safety provisions of road safety laws and regulations and of issuing warnings when basic municipal by-laws are not obeyed.

EXAMPLES OF TASKS PERFORMED

• Bike-patrols the parks, playgrounds, streets and bike paths throughout the summer.


• Issues warnings.


• Assistance with bicycle safety workshops for campers at the day camps.


• Takes part in various community events, friendly sports tournaments and intergenerational social activities.
