Position: BESS Senior Project Developer

Who are we recruiting for?

Our client is a globally recognized IPP specializing in renewable energy, with a growing focus on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) alongside solar PV projects. Following recent investments, the company has a robust pipeline of BESS projects in Spain and is looking to strengthen its development team.

What will you be doing?

• Lead the development of utility-scale BESS projects from site identification, permitting, and design through to financial close.
• Coordinate technical, commercial, and regulatory aspects of BESS projects, ensuring alignment with company strategy and investor expectations.
• Manage relationships with landowners, local authorities, grid operators, and other external stakeholders to secure necessary permits, grid connections, and approvals.
