We are currently accepting internal applications for the role of AZ Equipment Operator 1 – Emergency Response (ER). This position plays a critical role in operating and maintaining heavy vehicles and equipment in support of environmental cleanup and emergency spill response activities.

This is a unionized position and will be filled in accordance with the provisions of the current Collective Agreement.

Qualifications

• 4000 hours competed with the Employer.
• Vatid AZ License.
• Passed competency evaluation by GFL Supervisor.
• Operate Proficiently at Equipment, including but not Limited to: Pneumatic & Shell Tankers, Wet / Dry Vac, Hydro Vac, Liquid (wet) vac, Roll-off Truck and/or Trailers Box Trailers & Straight Truck (including use of pallet jackets, dolly’s, carts, etc.).
• Sewer Cleaning Equipment i.E. combination / sewer flushing units.
• Confined Space Watch, Rescue & Entrance (certified training required).
